Chauffeured Rental – Official Agreement

1. Rental Period
   • Chauffeured rentals cover 12 hours per day, ending at 8:30 PM.
   • If your rental begins in the afternoon (around 12 PM), the service will still conclude at 8:30 PM that same day.
2. Deposit:
   Kindly note that a 20% or full payment must be made as a commitment fee. Before we can assign a vehicle to you.

3. Payment Terms

   • Full payment is kindly required before the rental commences.

   • Payments may be made via Mobile Money or Bank Transfer ONLY.

4. No Cash Payments:

   • For your security, we do not accept cash for rentals.

   • Please avoid making any direct payments to drivers (except for tips).

   • If any payment is requested, kindly confirm with your sales agent before proceeding.

5. Refuel:

   Muvars will provide a full tank of fuel, but you must refuel it during and after your trip.

6. Drop off Fuel Policy:

   Clients are required to refuel the vehicle at the drop-off point. The full amount spent on fuel will be reimbursed to the driver for a top-up upon return to the garage. 

7. Driver Accommodation & Meals Policy:

   For trips outside Accra lasting more than one day, the client is responsible for providing the driver’s accommodation.

   Providing meals for the driver is optional but appreciated.

8. Working Time:
   The working hours of the vehicle are 12 hours. The car does not operate after 8:30 PM, and this arrangement is flexible as agreed upon by both parties.

9. Rental Extensions:

   • If you wish to extend your rental, please get in touch with Muvars at least 24 hours before your current booking ends.

   • Once we issue the extension invoice, payment must be made promptly to secure the additional days.

10. Change of Destination:
    A change of rental destination will incur an additional fee. Please get in touch with our office immediately for assistance.
    
11. Overtime:
    An Additional fare of GHS100 per hour will be charged as overtime after 8:30 PM.
12.  Cancellations:
    Cancellations made 24 to 12 hours before pick-up will incur a 20% fee.
    Cancellations made 11 to 2 hours before pick-up will incur a 50% fee.
13. Postponing:
    Postponing made 24 to 12 hours before pick-up will incur a 15% fee.
    Postponing made 11 to 2 hours before pick-up will incur a 30% fee.
14. Overnight Rentals (Day & Night Working):
    An Additional fare of Half (50%) of the Daily Rate will be charged together as overnight work.
15. Washing:
    An additional charge of GHS50 shall be given to the driver for vehicle washing during (2+ days trip) & after the trip.
16. Report:
    Any inconspicuous, unobvious, or unapparent damage to the vehicle is to be reported immediately.
17. Indemnity:
    Renters are obliged to pay the full cost of any vehicle in case of theft of parts, body dents, scratches, vandalism, accidents, and damage resulting from any act of the renter.

The Renter agrees to return the vehicle to the Owner on the last day of the rental period, no later than the time specified in this Agreement. The Renter agrees to return the vehicle in the same condition as when it was rented, with normal wear and tear excepted. If the Renter fails to return the vehicle on time, the Renter will be charged an additional daily rate until the vehicle is returned.

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral. This Agreement may not be amended or modified except in writing signed by both parties.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this Agreement as of the date first above written.

• • NO SMOKING of cigarettes or marijuana is allowed in this car NO DRINKING & driving under the influence 
  • DON’T ATTEMPT TO FIX the car if you encounter any problems 
  • DON’T ATTEMPT To book this car for a location and end up in a different region 
  • DON’T ATTEMPT To use this car for commercial purposes (Uber, Bolt, Trotro)
  • DO Inspect the car on delivery and return. 
  • The car is available for rent for a minimum of 2 days. The rental price includes unlimited mileage. 
  • The car must be returned in the same condition as it was rented The Signed Lease Agreement (T&Es) of Muvars to enjoy this lovely car.
